With the impact of covid minimized, far from the figures for 2021 and although it is still among us, the tourism sector is beginning to return to the old normality. Complete accommodation, last-minute offers at great prices, crowds at the main airports... all classics that make us return to our usual lives.
The time has finally come to go on vacation again and enjoy the summer, its beaches, its mountains, its party… Do you already know where to stay? Well, let's go with some of the great and eternal proposals, the Balearic Islands, more specifically destinations such as the party girl Ibiza or the familiar Formentera.
Ibiza, the island that shares parties and family tourism at the same time
Ibiza is a dream destination in the Mediterranean, a place where you can give free rein to freedom and enjoy the hippie atmosphere of its fashion and markets, revitalizing moments in Balinese beds by the sea or sunsets with inspiring views.
Going through it on foot or by public transport will not allow you to enjoy much of everything it has to offer, so it is important to be proactive and worry about getting a good car rental in Ibiza before reaching this wonderful holiday destination.
It is important that you know that the island of Ibiza has some of the most impressive landscapes and crystal clear waters in the world. That makes the island one of the best places to travel at any time of the year.
To get to Ibiza there are two options: flight or ferry. If you go by plane you will arrive at Ibiza airport, very close to Playa d'en Bossa. From there, 3 urban buses leave with different routes. If you happen to arrive by ferry, the only points on the peninsula connected to the port of Ibiza are Barcelona, Valencia and Denia. From the first two the route is at night, while from Denia the journey is much shorter and is done during the day.
Formentera, relaxation and tranquility in a heavenly setting
Formentera is a small island with a large number of places and plans to offer its visitors. It is the ideal place to disconnect and get rid of stress in any of the coves and beaches of its 69km of coastline. A place to feel the beach atmosphere in perfect harmony with nature or simply enjoy a pleasant meal on a terrace.
To move around the island, the best thing is to catch a good motorcycle rental on the island of Formentera. Gasoline is hardly used and the distances are very short from one place to another.
Note that there is no direct flight to Formentera, so the possibilities to get there are these:
- Direct ferry from Denia (Valencia)
- Flight to Ibiza and ferry from there
Formentera is a small paradise in which most people who have had the pleasure of visiting the island have nothing else in mind than to return, it leaves you truly in love!
