Just released in 2022 and with a pandemic in between, it is hard to believe that we are going to take up the issue of travel, the data is tremendous in terms of infections but there is a widespread belief that thanks to this massive contagion over time we will defend ourselves better of the virus and we will end up returning to enjoy this hobby that we like so much as it is that of traveling around the world.

That is why it is a good idea to think about our next vacation destination, whether it is for our summer holidays, or a weekend getaway. More thought about the latter than long-term vacations, Paris It becomes a very desirable destination for a two or three day getaway, especially if you are lucky enough to have an airport close to where you live with cheap flights.

From here we are going to suggest you visit some of the best places that you should not leave out if you visit the so-called city of light, they may not be the best, but the ones that we liked the most. However, it is always a good idea to also take a Free Tour in Paris since they will surely teach us a different vision of the city.

Montparnasse

Here are the famous Catacombs of Paris, the Montparnasse Cemetery and the Montparnasse Tower. It is a residential and commercial area above all. It is located on the left bank of the River Seine, specifically between Boulevard de Montparnasse and Boulevard Raspail.

Arch of Triumph

The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most iconic monuments in Paris. It provides magnificent and impressive views from its penthouse vantage point. Each of its four pillars has a sculpture, each one having a meaning: Le Triomphe (The triumph), La Résistance (The resistance), La Paix (La Paz ) and La Marseillaise (The marsellesa).

Vincennes Castle

The 'Château de Vincennes' is located on the outskirts of Paris, in the village of Vincennes, and is one of the tallest castles in Europe. Here we can find the Paris Floral Park, a place where many people, although few tourists, go to take the traditional photo with the giant letters of Paris.

Defense

The financial district of the city, is to the west of Paris, in the territory of the municipality of Puteaux, modern and with the peculiarity of having a large glass building called 'Arc de La Défense', which is in parallel with the Arc de Triomphe and the obelisk of the Place de la Concorde.

Pantheon

It was the first most important monument in the French capital located in the heart of the Latin Quarter. It is a construction prior to the Eiffel Tower. This majestic neoclassical pantheon houses the tombs of such illustrious figures as Marie Curie, Voltaire, Rousseau and Victor Hugo. The majesty of its façade, its exterior and interior make it a must see in Paris in 3 days.
